"I’ve been working on a fantasy novel since the eighth grade. I’ve got about one thousand pages so far. I’m just missing the beginning."
“What’s it about?”
“Lots of fighting. In space.”
There’s a few albums that I tried to listen to in my mid/late teens and I never liked or got into and then until I hit my 20s, moved across the world, and they suddenly all made sense.
- Abby Road / The Beatles
- Dear You / Jawbreaker
- The Devil and God are raging inside me / Brand New
“Someday you’ll find the right person, and you’ll learn to have a lot more confidence in yourself. That’s what I think. So don’t settle for anything less. In this world, there are things you can only do alone, and things you can only do with somebody else. It’s important to combine the two in just the right amount”

Zach Sobiech was only 17 years old when he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer that takes the lives of a large percent of its childhood victims. Givenonly months to live, Zach turned to music to say goodbye. His song “Clouds” debuted December 6, 2012. Zach passed away May 20, 2013.
One year later 5,000 people gathered at the Mall Of America to remember Zach and sing his song.
I remember first hearing “clouds” on the current last spring shortly before Zach died. There’s something incredible pure and heartfelt about this song and it really hit me hard instantly.
I so wish I could have been at MOA for this-
